FoodMinds Bolsters Talent in Food & Nutrition Affairs with New Hires and Promotions

CHICAGO, April 12, 2016 – FoodMinds LLC, a food and nutrition communications and consulting company, recently added credentialed experts to its teams in San Francisco and Chicago and promoted team members in Chicago and Washington, D.C.

Andrea Carrothers, MS, RD, senior vice president, joins the San Francisco office to help lead FoodMinds existing and new client strategies, and advance FoodMinds’ leadership in the food+tech and nutrition+sustainability sectors. With 15 years of experience leading influencer and consumer communication programs and providing regulatory counsel, Carrothers is well positioned to carve out new territory for the company.

Laura Hershey, MBA, RD, vice president, joins the San Francisco office from Daisy Brand, where she served as Health and Nutrition Manager. In that role, she developed and led a multi-faceted nutrition strategy that grew Daisy’s brand recognition and thought leadership. Prior to Hershey’s tenure at Daisy, she consulted with a variety of food companies to advance their nutrition communications and marketing strategies.

Laura Campbell, RD, assistant account executive, joins the Chicago office with five years of experience counseling patients in prenatal care and pediatrics as well as patients confronting a variety of disease states. In her previous role at a large public relations agency, she coordinated supermarket dietitian and nutrition blogger networks.

Bree Flammini is promoted to senior vice president in Chicago. Flammini has more than a decade of experience in strategic program planning, health influencer education and outreach, nutrition media relations and issues management. Prior to joining FoodMinds in 2012, she counseled clients across those areas at a major international public relations firm.

Laurie Hainley, RD, is promoted to account executive in Washington, DC. Prior to joining FoodMinds, Hainley was a social media consultant, developing recipes, blog posts and visual content for food companies.
